After graduating from the University of San Diego in 1999, Susanne Franke worked for an auditing firm in Bremen (Commerzial Treuhand). In 2001, she established one of the first law firms as a joint stock company in Germany. Until early 2016, she was a partner with a north German legal partnership (Saahoff, Habe, Franke, Bühre).
In 2006, the Oldenburg Bar Association awarded Susanne Franke the title of specialist attorney in inheritance law. The following year, the Association awarded her the title of specialist attorney in commercial and corporate law.
Attorney Franke has published several articles on commercial and corporate law with the publishing house Haufe Verlag. She also annotated the entire Spanish inheritance law and German private international inheritance law sections of C.H. BECK’s acclaimed reference book Annotations on Succession after publishing The Entrepreneur’s Last Will.
Since 2016, the Oldenburg office’s legal team includes Maike Chandra, Dr. Gerhard Kircher, Gerd Weinreich, and Susanne Franke.
Susanne Franke is a board member of the Oldenburg Lawyers and Notaries’ Association and a board member of the German Women’s Legal Association in Oldenburg.
